<p>This innovative beverage launch forms the most recent extension of Bickford’s’ 136 year old Cordial range and comes at the peak of summer when refreshment will be top of mind for Aussie consumers.</p>
<p>With no artificial colours, flavours or sweeteners, Bickford’s Cranberry Juice Cordial is made with 25 per cent real cranberry juice and delivers a refreshing balance of tartness and sweetness. Unique to the Australian market and true to the rest of the Bickford’s range, it delivers high refreshment value and adult taste appeal, with the flexibility of mixing to suit individual taste preferences.</p>
<p>Bickford’s Senior Brand Manager &#8211; Jodi Pope says, “Cranberry commands approximately 75 per cent of the premium juice segment, and with the brand’s existing association with quality cranberry products established through our Bickford’s Premium Juice range, there was a wonderful opportunity to extend this to cordial.”</p>

<p>Nowadays it seems as though everyone is a foodie. With the rise of the Masterchef phenomenon people are interested, more than ever, in trying new foods, eating organic as well as eating out. I, for one, love it. I count myself as a foodie- I mean, my life ambition is to either become a food critic or a wine maker. Yet, I still need to learn to walk the walk and talk the talk, so to speak.</p>
<p>Everything comes with practice and on a sunny weekend in October I ventured down to the Good Food and Wine Show. Initially my fellow show-goer and I were overwhelmed by the incredible number of stalls, however, after a quick chat with a friendly staff member we got the lowdown and went on our way.</p>
<p>We began by walking around the food section- sampling different products. We then purchased a wine glass for $3 a pop each and began our afternoon of wine tasting. The wineries represented ranged from those that are world famous to smaller, less well known labels. Oh, what a joy it was to speak to people who are truly passionate about their product. Celebrity chefs were out in force with the likes of Gary and George from Masterchef, Toby Puttock and Matt Moran all presenting shows in the “Good Food and Wine Show Celebrity Theatre.” Unfortunately, due to long lineups, my guest and I didn’t have the patience to wait to see a show. However, loud cheers echoing from the theatre indicated that audiences loved what they were seeing.</p>
<p>The only downside to the show was in regard to lunch. Lunch options for the day were a little disappointing when compared to the array of food available to sample. Those who were after a more substantial lunch option only had the choice between pizza, Indian or a light meal provided by the Hotel Tivoli. Nothing of which really appealed to my newly intrigued foodie self.</p>
<p>Yet, overall, Adelaide’s first Good Food and Wine Festival was a joy to attend. I came home inspired and ready to cook up a storm!</p>
