Not often do you find yourself reviewing a performance where you want the clock to jump forward. Unfortunately Paris Wells was one of these.
Don’t get me wrong, Paris has a great voice, which shinned brilliantly when accompanied by guitar for two songs. However for all other her voice was being drowned out by the instruments. The sound was mixed terribly for a small venue and it seemed as each instrument was trying to be the loudest, totally overpowering Paris’s voice. Pity as the band seemed to enjoy itself much more than the luke warm audience.
