FRINGE – Footprints Through Africa – The Garage International – Music

Performers of international acclaim came to the small Garage International to display their talents. They brought the message ‘rhythm can enrich your life’ and enrich it did. Led by master drummer Bortier Okoe, Footprints through Africa was a life lesson as much as it was a musical concert. We were led through the origins of many African songs and cultural celebrations. Life and death in the African continent are brought to life with the dancing and rhythmic beats. A very underappreciated show, considering the performers are masters of their talents. I’d love to see this in the Spiegeltent next year, or at the very least a larger venue. A great show, interesting, rhythmically amazing and just good fun.
