SHORTS Film Festival – Friday Review

Friday night at the Shorts Film Festival dealt with the major topics of life, love, death and unconventional uses of fresh produce. A packed out Norwood Concert Hall was treated to shorts by truly talented Australian filmmakers.

A captivating night comprised of a glorious concoction of short films. The festival provides an exclusive experience to its audiences. This would be why it’s sold out for the last two nights of the season.

There were some definite stand outs from the crowd; ‘Secret Life of Objects’, ‘Betty’s Tap Catz’ and ‘L’Artiste!’.

As always, the SHORTS produced an interesting mix of styles, stories and production valaues with no doubt plenty of contrary views to these expressed possible, making the prospects for the rest of the week delicious.

Young and old, media and consumer arrived at the Norwood Concert hall for the opening of the 2012 SHORTS Film Festival on Saturday. The hall was marvellously decorated, combining contemporary designs with the classic European style theatre.

Based on a Nicholas Spark novel, this is nothing more and nothing less than a fine romantic drama. While Efron has beefed up for the role his good looks shine through, but on screen it is Schilling who stars. 4K
