‘Feathers’; Group Exhibition – Format Gallery – From 9th Jan

Inspired by the phrase “Birds of a feather flock together”, ‘Feathers’ will be held at the Format Gallery Space (15 Peel St, Adelaide 5000) from the 9 Jan to 10 Feb. 23 young artists’ works will be enmeshed in a giant chicken wire nest built within the gallery, physically and metaphorically supported by the audience as they weave fabric, yarn, sticks, tape, and other recycled materials into the walls.

RAW – POND at Ed Castle – Review

Rather like the album, POND’s live show is all about having fun, letting go and succumbing to the pseudo-spiritualism of the Bigger Groove. They might be a teeny bit long-winded and oddly self-conscious but ultimately it’s ripping nostalgia with the right amount of self-awareness to satisfy the cynics.

Four young Adelaide photographers are exhibiting four of their images, each restricted to A4 size. The four are Genevieve Brandenburg, Elle Dawson-Scott, Meg Cowell and Stephanie Fuller and their approaches are as varied as their names.
