A superb ensemble of actors has been gathered by director Karen Sheldon, and under her guidance they meet the demands of the vocals admirably, and also shine in their comedic abilities. This is a long show, pushing three hours, but in the hands of this professional cast and crew, the pace remains constant, the performances are engaging and the time flies.

Overall this is a pleasing, quality production of a musical that will be very dear to many. It was a fun way to spend three hours, revisiting a childhood love.

This was an enjoyable production. While lighter on plot than most musicals, it provided an opportunity to hear Ellie Greenwich’s hit songs performed live and gave a little insight into the woman behind the music. 3.5K
